Discover what's possible
I never set out to become a therapist—but life had other plans. More than twenty years ago, I found my way into counseling through wilderness therapy, where I witnessed people create real, lasting change. That experience stayed with me and continues to shape how I show up in this work.
Since then, I’ve worked across a wide range of settings, including wilderness programs, community mental health, schools, in-home counseling, and leadership roles such as heading the mental health program at Trapper Creek Job Corps and serving as Director of Behavioral Health at Sapphire Community. I’ve also had the privilege of supervising and mentoring many other therapists along the way.
People come to therapy for many reasons. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply have a sense that life could feel better than it does right now. Maybe you’re navigating a major transition, struggling in relationships, or quietly wondering, “How did I get here?”
In therapy with me, you’ll find a space that’s genuine, compassionate, and even enjoyable! Counseling looks different for everyone, and together we’ll figure out what works best for you. In my private practice, I use evidence-based approaches to help calm the mind and body, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and move toward the life you want to live. I work with individuals ages 13 and up, with particular focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns.
Therapy doesn’t have to be stiff or intimidating—it can be effective, human, and meaningful. If finding the right fit matters to you (and it should), let’s connect and see if we’re a good match
